Four general materials for plastic corrugated conduit pipe
As we know, plastic corrugated conduit pipe are used to protect wire and cables. There are four kinds of materials are used for producing corrugated conduit pipes, Nylon (polyamide), PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride). The four materials are used common in the world. Today let me show you about them.
■ Nylon (polyamide) Material:
1. Working temperature: -40 degrees to +125 degrees, especially could work in a short time under +140 degrees.
2. Appearance: Smoothest surface, with the best appearance in four kinds of pipes.
3. Properties: Durable, chemical-resistance, distortion-resistant and restorable properties.
4. Price: Expensive.
5. Mainly Using Places: Automation equipment, auto, the places with have appearance requirements, etc.
■ PP (polypropylene) Material:
1. Working temperature: -30 degrees to +110 degrees, especially could work in a short time under +130 degrees.
2. Appearance: Nice smooth surface,
3. Properties: Durable, chemical-resistance and distortion-resistant properties.
4. Price: little expensive.
5. Mainly Using Places: All kinds of auto, wire harness.
■ PE (polyethylene) Material:
1. Working temperature: -30 degrees to +100 degrees, especially could work in a short time under +120 degrees.
2. Appearance: Nice smooth surface,
3. Properties: Durable, chemical-resistance and distortion-resistant properties.
4. Price: Cheap, especially reclaimed PE are cheaper.
5. Mainly Using Places: Common place, the place have no other special requirements.
■ PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Material:
1. Working temperature: -10 degrees to +80 degrees, especially after 100 degrees, PVC could resolve poison gas (HCL).
2. Appearance: Nice smooth surface,
3. Properties: durable, chemical-resistance and distortion-resistant properties.
4. Price: Cheaper
5. Mainly Using Places: Construction.
The above is the general introduction about four materials and using places. If you have any questions about plastic corrugated conduit pipe, welcome to send us email for assistance. Any feedback will be appreciated.
